About Us

Dr. Lauber – MD Dermatology

Dr. Lauber is a Board-Certified Dermatologist with the American Board of Dermatology. He was born and raised in Los Angeles. His Pre-Medical studies were at UCLA where he majored in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from USC School of Medicine. His residency in Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery was in New Orleans at Tulane University Medical Center. Immediately after becoming Certified by the American Board of Dermatology– DR Lauber established the Advanced Skin Treatment Center of Orange County- where he has been the Medical Director for more than 33 years. This is very important- Please note DR. LAUBER is a real Medical Doctor also please note that my practice has not and will not ever employ Nurse practitioners or Physician’s assistants ever. Do You Treat HPV?

Yes! While I do treat all disorders of the skin, Male HPV and Genital Warts are a very serious and contagious virus. It is my duty to help keep the people of Newport Beach in Orange County as healthy as possible.

How Do You Treat Acne?

We only use the miracle drug Accutane and have done so very successfully for over 33 years with over 7,000 patients! We have several thousand before and after pictures of our very happy acne patients in our waiting area for you to come by the office and review any time you’d like. Never a charge.

Thank you for returning my call on Sunday. That is uncommon for most MD dermatology offices. Time is valuable so thank you for taking time to return my cal. Due to concerns with breastfeeding I went elsewhere but I appreciated the call. I was able to get in at a different practice to address my POD. Of note, only private pay clients are accepted. But you have a clearly responsive MD.

What can I say, I am really thankful to have found it. I had a problem with two warts and in my insurance they used a method that leaves a mark and is painful and annoying, but cheap. And in other much more expensive places they use laser that they tell you that if it comes back they will take it off (they don't guarantee anything). So I looked for a method that I already knew some time ago which is electrosurgery and I found the doctor. THE CHIEF without a doubt made us feel very comfortable before, during and after the surgery. No pain, no bleeding. Best of all he speaks Spanish and with very reasonable prices. S In just 10 minutes I was happy and relieved with no discomfort from wart removal. If you are looking for a GOOD dermatologist do not hesitate to go! Thank you very much doctor. So it's been a while since I've seen everyone over here at advanced dermatology. I wish I could shout from the rooftops how great this place is because there's nothing worse than dealing with all the BS that my wonderful health insurance like to through at us. So I injured myself, I was on vacation in New York and I cut my foot open and I had to see a wound specialist. Wearing a bandage on my foot for almost a month severely dried out my skin. None of the over-the-counter creams and lotions were working so I went and saw Dr. Jeffrey Lauber. He told me I had some kind of bacteria on the bottom of my foot and wrote me a prescription. I was in and out in 10 minutes in two days later my foot was back to normal. I can't say enough about Dr. Jeffrey Lauber, he's not gonna take your insurance and he's not going to play the referral games that a lot of the other doctors like to play but if you have something wrong with your skin I promise you a visit to Dr. Lauber's office will be worth every minute.
